I have always had a tendency to be a perfectionist and I didn't want to start the blog without a lot of post on a lot of topics waiting to be posted. In theory, it's a good idea. Especially since my fibro can keep me in bed for days on end. In reality, it's not such a good idea for a perfectionist. We tend to not want to publish anything unless it's absolutely fabulously correct and awe inspiring. I have short term memory and comprehension problems which means that sometimes I can't come up with the correct word or I'll leave a word out of a sentence. I have to proof read multiple times. So instead of publishing something that doesn't meet unrealistic standards, I just didn't post anything and essentially gave up. In the "edit posts" folder there are 17 entries including this one. Eight of them are in the draft stage. I'm not going to let it bother me any longer. I'm going to share with you what's going on in my life each day and hopefully, we'll learn from each other.
The most important topic I'll be talking about is my faith in God. He's an awesome God who was willing to send His son to earth to take on our human body and then die a painful death on the cross so that we can live forever with Him in heaven. His grace has set us free! My desire is live my live in a way that is pleasing to God. I can think of no better way of becoming the woman God wants me to be than to follow the God inspired advice given to King Lemuel by his mother in Proverbs 31:10 - 3. I wrote about becoming a Proverbs 31 woman last year and I'm even more committed to walking that path. I will be posting about my daily Bible study ever day and I invite you to jump in with your thoughts on the scripture for the day.
I've got some tasks waiting to be done that aren't going to get done on their own so I better go do them. I'm going to try and post all week until the big "reveal" on September 2. Ok, I hear you asking "why September 2". Why not September 1 or even Monday? I will be 55 years young on September 2 so I'm starting my life another year older and hopefully a year wiser. There's nothing like a fresh start and that's what we are doing here.
I hope you come along for the fun!
